ABOUT

Ali is a South African artist living in Scotland. She paints semi-abstract contemporary artworks, reflecting transient journeys through timelessness and minimalism, using a muted colour palette.

In terms of her creative practice, she feels there is no absolute, and in this way, the artwork is open to interpretation, and the viewer becomes part of the creative process as well.

Her work has sold internationally to collectors, interior and fashion designers, as well as being reproduced as large-scale mosaics and contemporary jewellery design pieces.

Ali believes that art can influence our well-being, and that it is important that people fill their homes with items that bring them joy.
